LinkedIn has partnered with Calendly to introduce native scheduling functionality for Premium users. The integration allows visitors to book meetings directly from a LinkedIn profile, streamlining lead generation and boosting engagement for business and sales professionals.
Growing adoption of custom profile buttons
Since launching custom profile buttons, LinkedIn reports over one million Premium and Enterprise users have adopted them. These buttons appear across profiles, posts, messages, and search, enabling calls to action such as:
- Visit my website
- Book an appointment
- View my services
According to LinkedIn, profiles with buttons have seen a 25 percent increase in views.
How the Calendly integration works
The new feature lets Premium users connect or create a Calendly account directly within LinkedIn. Once connected, a visitor can instantly schedule a meeting by clicking the profile’s custom button without needing to exchange messages or emails.
Ora Levit, VP of Product Management at LinkedIn, explained:
