LinkedIn has unveiled a set of new artificial intelligence tools designed to transform how organisations recruit talent and deliver personalised learning. These innovations reflect LinkedIn’s broader strategy to support evolving workplace needs and strategic human resources roles.
AI-powered recruitment with Recruiter 2024
One of the standout tools is Recruiter 2024, an AI-driven recruiting platform that allows HR teams to find qualified candidates more efficiently. Instead of relying on manual searches, recruiters can now describe ideal candidates in natural language.
The system uses LinkedIn’s proprietary data on more than 950 million professionals to identify suitable matches. It can also recommend expanding job criteria such as skills, location, and remote work options to broaden the talent pool.
The tool shifts focus away from traditional brand-name companies. Instead, it highlights candidates who are open to work, value-aligned, or actively engaging with similar roles.
LinkedIn has also introduced CRM Connect, a new integration that links Recruiter with third-party candidate relationship management systems to streamline talent pipeline workflows.
AI coaching on LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning is also set for a big update. A new AI coaching feature provides tailored guidance through a chatbot interface. Based on a user’s role, career goals, and skills, the AI delivers personalised learning recommendations and professional advice.
The initial pilot focuses on leadership and management development, with plans to expand into other categories over time.
Early testing and future availability
Both Recruiter 2024 and AI coaching are currently available to a limited number of pilot customers. LinkedIn plans to expand access to all Recruiter and Learning Hub users in the coming months.
These tools mark LinkedIn’s first major step into AI-powered workforce support, positioning the platform as a more integral partner in talent acquisition and employee development.
